CNOOC getting ready to tender for new floater

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) is expected to approach the market in the near future seeking a contractor to carry out conceptual design work on a floating production, storage and offloading vessel for use on the Liuhua 16-2 oilfield development in the South China Sea.

Shanghai: Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry, an affiliate shipyard of Shanghai Bestway Marine Engineering Design, has signed a shipbuilding contract with Centaur Marine for the construction of a self-elevating liftboat.
